Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse space utilization for efficient loading/unloading
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with vendors, carriers, and clients to ensure timely delivery and exceptional service
- Prepare shipping manifests, bills of lading, and compliance documentation
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to handle time-sensitive shipments
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (may require occasional site visits)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable for Southwest markets
