Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, ocean freight)
- Manage inventory control systems and track shipment statuses in real-time
- Prepare and process commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and maintain compliance with international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and dock efficiency
- Analyze shipping metrics and implement cost-reduction strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker or ISTA credentials preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
