Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules and track all inbound/outbound freight using advanced logistics software
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, hazardous materials handling)
- Optimize load planning to maximize trailer capacity and minimize transit costs
- Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and clients to resolve delivery exceptions
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies in real-time
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement
- Lead cross-functional teams during peak shipping seasons and critical projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping coordination or warehouse operations
- Expertise in TMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder preferred)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation with carriers
- Problem-solving mindset for exception management
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics (or equivalent experience)
