Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments including documentation compliance and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes using TMS systems to reduce costs and transit times
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse dock scheduling
- Liaise with carriers, vendors, and clients to resolve delivery exceptions
- Generate shipping reports and KPI dashboards for operational analysis
- Implement safety protocols for hazardous materials handling
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with LTL/FTL experience
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (Manhattan, Descartes preferred)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs regulations
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
- OSHA Hazmat certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience
