Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation (BOLs, manifests, customs forms)
- Optimize freight routes to minimize costs while meeting delivery deadlines
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination or logistics experience
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
- Experience with LTL/FTL shipping processes
