Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including documentation, carrier selection, and tracking
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiations and route planning
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping schedules
- Resolve shipping delays and customer inquiries proactively
- Ensure compliance with DOT, customs, and hazardous materials regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams
- Analyze shipping data to identify efficiency improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in deadline-driven environment
- Forklift certification a plus
- High school diploma; degree in logistics preferred
