Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and carrier requirements
- Manage inventory levels and track shipments using WMS and TMS systems
- Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate freight rates with carriers
- Monitor shipment status and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- Associate's degree or equivalent in logistics/supply chain management preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
