Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, ensuring daily task completion and performance standards
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance in all operations
- Optimize inventory management systems to minimize errors and maximize throughput
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless inbound/outbound operations
- Conduct regular process audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for leadership review
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management training
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong analytical skills for process optimization and data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
