Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve delivery exceptions proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and carrier teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate freight rates with carriers
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
- Implement continuous improvements to shipping processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
