Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Track and monitor shipments in real-time using TMS software, providing proactive updates to stakeholders
- Negotiate rates with freight forwarders and ocean carriers to optimize costs
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and exceptions with immediate issue resolution
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipment documentation in ERP systems
- Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Implement continuous improvement strategies for shipping efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Deep knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and IATA/FMC compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex shipping data
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Active IATA/FMC certification or willingness to obtain immediately
