Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms) with 100% accuracy
- Optimize routing and negotiate freight rates to minimize costs
- Track shipments proactively and resolve transit delays
- Liaise with warehouse, sales, and customs teams
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities under deadlines
- OSHA Hazmat certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
