Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities including order processing, documentation, and carrier communications
- Track and monitor shipments in transit, resolving delays and exceptions proactively
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Liaise with warehouse teams, carriers, and clients to ensure timely delivery
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and transit times
- Comply with all transportation regulations (DOT, IATA, customs)
- Generate shipping reports and performance metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with shipping software (e.g., TMS, SAP) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
