Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (truck, rail, air)
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Optimize shipping routes and schedules to reduce transit times and costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with warehouse, sales, and carrier teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems for shipping materials
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field
- Forklift certification preferred
