Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Prepare and manage Bill of Lading, customs forms, and shipping documentation
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and proactively resolve delays
- Liaise with warehouse teams, carriers, and clients to ensure timely delivery
- Optimize shipping routes to reduce costs while maintaining service levels
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
- Generate performance reports and analyze logistics efficiency metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication abilities with internal/external stakeholders
- Associates degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Forklift certification and warehouse safety knowledge preferred
