Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) for compliance
- Monitor real-time shipment tracking and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and dock efficiency
- Act as primary liaison between carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct rate negotiations and carrier performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment data in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs clearance procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with experience resolving transit issues
- High school diploma or equivalent; supply chain certification preferred
