Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments with carriers.
- Prepare, verify, and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading and commercial invoices.
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve any delivery discrepancies or delays.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure alignment.
- Manage inbound and outbound inventory levels and ensure accurate stock allocation.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, shipping laws, and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software (Oracle, SAP, Manhattan, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
