Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and compliance with regulations
- Manage inventory levels and track shipments via TMS/WMS systems
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate with carriers/customers
- Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and delivery times
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and compliance records
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams for seamless order fulfillment
- Analyze shipping metrics and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping/receiving or logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Incoterms, DOT regulations, and customs procedures
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
- Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- Forklift certification preferred
- High school diploma; logistics degree/certification a plus
