Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including carrier selection, documentation, and tracking
- Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and customs teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
- Generate shipping reports and analyze logistics performance metrics
- Build relationships with carriers and negotiate favorable rates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and shipping documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
