Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ground, rail)
- Manage documentation compliance including customs forms, bills of lading, and hazardous materials permits
- Optimize shipping routes and schedules to minimize costs and transit times
- Resolve logistics disruptions and communicate delays proactively to stakeholders
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate loading and inventory management
- Prepare monthly shipping reports and KPI analysis for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; supply chain certification (CSCP, CLTD) a plus
