Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% order accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA compliance) to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and coordinate with procurement to prevent stockouts.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, scheduling shifts to optimize workflow.
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyor systems) and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all customer returns and damaged goods are processed correctly and documented.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
