Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach Truck) and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Inspect equipment for safety and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the forklift.
- Ensure all inventory is stored according to safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Ability to read and understand safety labels, signs, and shipping documents.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
