Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and train warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage stock discrepancies.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Equipment Management: Coordinate maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Leadership: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Certification: Forklift certification and OSHA 10 training preferred.
