Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload refrigerated and frozen cargo from incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) in the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment in extreme temperatures.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage, verify order accuracy, and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse aisles clear, ensure equipment is operational, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F (0°C) for extended periods; must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Documentation: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
