Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for inventory movement
- Inspect and document storage conditions using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload shipments while adhering to HACCP protocols
- Perform routine sanitation and pest control procedures
- Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient inventory rotation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold environments
- Basic knowledge of FIFO inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
