Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Verify and inspect stock items to ensure they match orders and are free of damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory counts, stock rotation, and order fulfillment processes.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding stock levels and logistical needs.
- Ensure all forklift maintenance logs are up to date and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B not required, but forklift license is mandatory).
- Experience: Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory and safety protocols.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- Background: Clean background check required.
