Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to move, load, and unload products accurately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock counting, cycle counts, and ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to identify any mechanical issues and report them to maintenance.
- Product Handling: Properly handle materials to prevent damage, ensuring products are stored in designated zones.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Availability: Must be available for Full-Time shifts with immediate start availability.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- License: Valid driver's license (not always required for indoor work but preferred).
