Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and dock areas
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including pre-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Support order fulfillment and quality control initiatives
- Train new team members on safe material handling procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience (valid certification required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid Kansas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
