The Role:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials, maintain accurate inventory records, and uphold our high standards of workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Sit-Down Forklift) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe operating condition.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or transfer to storage areas.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow operations.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
