Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure safety compliance and equipment functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and labeling pallets according to warehouse management systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
