Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, and Clamp) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Organize and stock inventory in a neat, orderly, and efficient manner to optimize warehouse flow.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate digital or paper records of stock movements.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse managers regarding incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and accident prevention.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record is required.
- Communication: Basic English skills for reading safety signs and following verbal instructions.
