Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator at our El Paso facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and maintaining high safety standards. We value safety, efficiency, and teamwork above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Accurately inventory stock, process orders, and ensure proper labeling and placement of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in accordance with OSHA and company 5S standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE and following traffic patterns in the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management software.
