Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Accurately update inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis.
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training (we provide this for the right candidates).
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required.
- Basic reading and writing skills for completing paperwork and logs.
