Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation using RF scanners.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to minimize workplace hazards.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet tight deadlines and service levels.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of debris to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist in warehouse organization projects and maintain a tidy workspace.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or valid operator license required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory management software.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality record.
