Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks and shipping containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Stack and organize inventory on shelves and racks efficiently to maximize warehouse space.
- Perform daily safety inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation (cycle counting) to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and damage.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding workflow and priorities.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred for warehouse roles).
- Willingness to learn and obtain forklift certification on the job.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
