Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload products.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, inspecting, and stocking inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and organization.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation are completed accurately.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and performing regular cleanup duties.
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Accurately log data into inventory management systems and complete daily shift reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: Or equivalent GED certification required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Experience: Prior experience as a material handler, warehouse associate, or in logistics is preferred.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a major plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory tasks.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts including overtime and weekends.
