Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, storing, and retrieving stock while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Load & Unload: Perform the loading and unloading of freight trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo security.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including keeping the dock area free of debris.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding stock levels and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CPS card preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is highly preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
