Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on digital pick lists and pack them securely for shipping.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards to prevent shipping errors.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies to the inventory control team immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanning devices (RF guns).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company workplace safety protocols at all times.
- Workflow Efficiency: Maintain a fast-paced work environment by staying organized and meeting daily productivity targets.
- Stock Organization: Help keep storage aisles clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not mandatory; we provide training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize picking errors and returns.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software (WMS) quickly.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
