What You Will Do
As a Picker Packer, you will play a critical role in our supply chain process, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment according to customer orders and standard operating procedures.
- Verify item descriptions and quantities against packing slips to ensure zero errors.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and update stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and quality metrics.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred but not required).
- Perform light maintenance on packaging equipment and keep supplies stocked.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in warehousing, retail, or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
