Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve merchandise from storage areas based on picking orders using handheld scanners or RF guns.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify accuracy of orders by checking product codes, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) to move stock efficiently.
- Report inventory discrepancies and damaged goods to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts consistently.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
