Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks.
- Inspect machinery for defects and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning and recording stock movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse workflows and meet daily production targets.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL or Class A/B license preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
