Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily shipping activities, including order processing, documentation, and carrier selection
- Track shipments in real-time using WMS/TMS systems and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and carrier teams to ensure seamless delivery operations
- Maintain accurate shipping records, manifests, and compliance documentation (DOT/FMCSA)
- Optimize routing and freight costs while maintaining service level agreements
- Manage inventory reconciliation and dock scheduling for inbound/outbound shipments
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; supply chain certification a plus
