Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks to move, locate, and place merchandise.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to order specifications.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counting and stock organization.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various temperature conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read order labels and pick tickets.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
