Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Pick and Pack: Accurately pick items from the warehouse shelves and prepare them for shipping.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock organization.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts (training provided) and other warehouse machinery as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving orders.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain a clean workspace.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (not mandatory for entry-level).
