Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments using TMS software to optimize routing and timelines
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates for cost efficiency
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Prepare customs documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Act as primary contact for clients regarding shipment status and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with LTL/FTL carrier negotiations and rate management
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree in supply chain preferred
