Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and organize shipments within the freezer and refrigeration zones.
- Monitor and log storage temperatures continuously to ensure strict compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent spoilage and ensure efficient workflow.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, checking against packing slips and invoices.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Assist in the restocking of inventory and the rotation of stock to ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods are followed.
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in extreme cold environments (temperatures may range from 20°F to 40°F).
- Physical stamina required to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long shifts.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but training is provided.
- Forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to perform basic math for inventory counting.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a background check.
