Responsibilities
- Unload and load refrigerated trucks/containers in temperature-controlled zones
- Organize inventory using FIFO methods in cold storage facilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely per OSHA standards
- Monitor temperature/humidity levels and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain sanitation protocols for food safety compliance
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 0-40°F refrigerated environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
