Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Inspect and organize inventory according to FIFO protocols
- Adhere to strict sanitation and HACCP standards
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
- Participate in mandatory safety training and drills
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold environments
- Valid forklift certification or ability to pass certification test
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
