Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and maintain inventory rotation systems
- Monitor and document temperature levels in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods upon arrival
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in storage zones
- Assist with inventory audits using WMS systems
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience
- Ability to work in -10°F environments for extended periods
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
