Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine inventory checks and maintain accurate digital records remotely
- Follow strict food safety protocols (HACCP) and sanitation procedures
- Operate warehouse management systems via remote tablet interfaces
- Collaborate with supervisors on inventory planning through digital platforms
- Perform quality control inspections on incoming/outgoing shipments
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for remote inventory reporting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
