Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight and materials safely and efficiently within the temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to transport goods to designated storage areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized and easily accessible.
- Perform daily safety inspections on equipment and workspaces to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Adhere strictly to cold storage safety guidelines, including proper handling of perishable goods.
- Assist in the organization and cleanup of the warehouse facility to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures often below 0°F).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification is a plus but will be provided upon hire.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
